It's amazing to me that Shawn's daughter and my daughters fit together so well. People just assume they're all natural siblings. And thankfully, they were instant friends.

Melanie (left) would turn 9 about six weeks after the wedding and Audrey (center) and Sara (right) would turn 7 just two days after that. Yes, Melanie was the oldest despite being the smallest.
